Friday in the Goblin Market
Season of the Underworld with Irene Glasse, Friday 1pm https://glassewitchcottage.com/in-person-events/
For many pre-Christian civilizations, the end of the agricultural year signified a shift from the world of the living to the world of the dead. Although contemporary culture compresses this season into a single date – October 31st – our spiritual forebears considered the entire dark season to be the time of the Ancestors. Explore the myths, folklore, ceremonies, and practices of the Underworld season and learn ways to incorporate more ancestral connection into your spiritual practice.
2pm Fitness Faerie: Bring Natural Healing, with Jacqui Hossfeld
Fitness Fairie Jacqui will teach about the link between lifestyle choices and health and how those that mimic natural behaviors will generate the most health. Topics will include food, movement, rhythms, and environment. This is for everyone, but people who have health concerns which don't fit into a definitive diagnosis will benefit the most!
3pm-5pm One Day Only: Watercolor Workshop: Rainbow Raven $20 materials fee
Join our Featured Artist, Joanna Barnum, in a hands on watercolor workshop. Together we'll paint a flying raven on a starry rainbow background, inspired by Joanna's event poster. For Adults and teens 16+, all art skill levels welcome! All materials
provided. We will be using latex-based masking fluid in this workshop. If you have an allergy, I can provide nitrile gloves, or alternative methods. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the workshop: [email protected]

Participants will have the chance to engage with a huge variety of reptiles while learning fun, quirky facts about their biology, environment, and more! Folks of all ages can meet the critters and even pet them after the show!
12noon Murder Mystery Theater with Vince Wilson= FAERY TALES TO TELL IN THE DARK
Elves and goblins come to life in this eerie adventure. Uncover the dark tales that lurk within the fairy realm. Step into a world of wonder with Vince Wilson's unique and original Haunted Murder Mysteries. Known globally, Vince's magic has captivated audiences and inspired fellow performers. His enchanting shows blend reality and illusion, making the impossible seem possible.

230 Steampunk Metronome Speed Contest with Tobias Hurwitz
The Steampunk Metronome is the world's fastest metronome, with a top speed of 1000 BPM (That's super fast.) It can change time signatures in any imaginable sequence, gradually morph tempos, and do everything all other metronomes can't. Steampunk Metronome inventor Tobias Hurwitz can match the top speed on guitar! Can you? After Tobias demonstrates, all instrumentalists are welcome to try. Prizes will be awarded to any who meet the challenge!
3pm Leather potion bracelet make and take with Donald Dobson, $20
In this hands-on workshop, participants will build create a whimsical potion bracelet that holds two mini vials. Attendees will be under the guidance of professional leather artist and owner/creator of Dodson Designs. You may have admired his leather leaf pouches before. There is a fee for materials, etc. of just $20
4pm Fate and Fiction: Writing Fantasy with Tarot and Dice with Jenna O’Malley
Jenna O'Malley, mernakind's Soul Writer, provides examples and answers questions about how to use Fated Design, or rather writing fiction with intention by using tarot/similar decks and multiple types of dice. Great for bards of magical immortals and all the realm's faekin of all ages! You are never too timeless in your timeline to start recording the journeys you are being reported to about, so why not do so with plenty of inspiration? Jenna says, "Notes for taking thoughts and quills are highly suggested. I've taught this course several times, and it's always is a hoot."
5pm Learn to Geeky Fairy Belly Dance with Antipode
Calling all Fariefolk! Do you want to learn to belly dance? Do you want a few new enchanting moves for the dance floor? Bring your magic and friends, as Antipode teaches you some new moves you can use at the ball tonight! Antipode has been teaching dance for over 15 years! Everyone is welcome to this all ages judgment free class; no experience required!
Antipode is an eccentric dance group that has combined their love of otaku/nerd culture with their love of belly dancing to create a unique form of dance known as geek belly dancing. Antipode performs throughout the year at numerous conventions. They were founded in 2005 and have performed over 200 shows on 5 different continents.
Fusing the theatrics of acting with a mix of cosplay, pop-culture, and off-beat humor Antipode brings the audience not just dance, but full geek entertainment.

Lindsey McCormick is the founder of Anam Cara Dance in Frederick, MD and Director of Troupe Anam Cara and Lotus Sol Skirt Troupe. She is a certified instructor in the Divine Chaos Fusion Skirt Format which she will be teaching at this workshop.
